Clean, one-click CSV order & line-item exports for Shopify.
NeatRow Exports turns messy Shopify order data into clean, spreadsheet-ready CSVs. Strictly one row per order, aggregated line items, zero pivot tables, and UTF-8 BOM encoding so Microsoft Excel and Google Sheets never break.
How it works
A clean, 3-step loop that makes Shopify order exporting predictable and reliable.
Authorize with your Shopify store. NeatRow requests strictly the read_orders permission and never collects customer PII.
Create named export templates tailored for your fulfillment partners, accounting team, or monthly audit reports.
1-click execution generates a clean CSV uploaded to secure Cloudflare R2 storage with instant signed download links.
What makes NeatRow Exports different
Default Shopify admin exports duplicate rows for every line item, corrupting sums and requiring spreadsheet surgery. NeatRow delivers clean data on day one.
One-Click Order Exports
Fetch order history with financial totals, SKUs, line item titles, quantities, discounts, and shipping details in a single click.
Custom Reusable Templates
Configure export recipes once, name your template, and run fresh exports whenever your team needs them.
Excel & Sheets Ready
Formatted with UTF-8 BOM encoding so foreign currency symbols, accents, and alphanumeric SKUs open cleanly in Excel without garbled text.
Cloud Storage & Signed URLs
Exports are stored securely in Cloudflare R2 object storage and downloaded via temporary, time-limited signed URLs (14-day auto-expiry).
Built for Speed & Privacy
Strictly scoped to read_orders. Zero customer PII collected or sold. Full GDPR shop/redact webhook compliance built in.
Run History & Status
Track previous export executions, row counts, and re-download previous CSV files anytime during the retention window.

FAQ
Quick answers to common questions about NeatRow Exports.
How does 1 row per order work for multi-item orders?
NeatRow aggregates line item SKUs, titles, and quantities into pipe-delimited columns (e.g. SKU-A | SKU-B). This ensures order total prices and taxes never duplicate, making spreadsheet sums and accounting formulas 100% accurate.
Will special characters and SKUs open properly in Microsoft Excel?
Yes. NeatRow Exports includes a UTF-8 Byte Order Mark (BOM) on all exported files, preventing Excel from garbling foreign accents, currency symbols, and alphanumeric SKUs.
Do you store customer personal information (PII)?
No. NeatRow Exports requests strictly the read_orders scope and does not access or store customer names, emails, or phone numbers. Customer ID and email columns are exported as blank strings.
How long are export files kept?
Export CSV files are stored in Cloudflare R2 and are automatically deleted after 14 days. Metadata (run history row counts and timestamps) is kept until you delete the template or uninstall the app.
What happens if I uninstall the app?
Upon uninstall, store sessions are deleted immediately. All remaining store data and templates are deleted within 48 hours in compliance with Shopify's mandatory GDPR shop/redact webhook.
Who built NeatRow Exports?
NeatRow Exports is developed and operated by Solace Signal Labs (solacesignallabs.com), an indie studio building game development rails and production tooling.
